  1. Obstacle Detection Zones

    1. Stuart loves the flexibility of setting detection zones, especially the upper-body coverage that aligns with his fast-paced walks alongside his Guide Dog.

  2. Lateral Detection

    1. Stuart loves this feature and suggests enhancing it by enabling lateral adjustments directly on NOA. What do you think?

  3. Improved App Connection

    1. Stability wins! The connection between NOA and his app is now a lot smoother.

  4. Settings Summary

    1. A few weeks ago, Stuart contacted us and suggested an idea: pressing a button on the device to get a status summary: battery, internet connectivity, settings applied, etc. And we implemented it! A double press on the Select button solves this.

  5. Bus Stop Detection & More

    1. The new bus stop detection feature is a winner! Stuart highlights its ability to identify bus stops, read out bus numbers, and even detect grassy areas—perfect for Guide Dog needs.

Next Steps for Improvement

One of the points raised in Stuart's feedback is already in progress, and we’re excited to share that a major GPS update is on the way! This rework will let you save favorite locations and search by building names, not just addresses, addressing some of the current limitations. We’re actively testing the new features internally to ensure they resolve the issues highlighted. The rollout is planned for the end of the month—stay tuned!

Thank You, Stuart!

Stuart’s feedback is invaluable, and we’re already brainstorming how to integrate the communities’ suggestions into future updates. If you have ideas or experiences to share, don’t hesitate to reach out—we love hearing from you!

Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thank you for being part of the Biped community. Together, we’re redefining mobility.

Warm regards,

The Biped Team
