NOA now detects holes

As promised last time, we are very happy to announce that the release 1.2.1 of your biped device will be able to detect holes, big drops, and stairs going down. And if you have 2 minutes, we introduce this new feature below:

• NOA AI (in the device): v1.2.1

  • If you walk towards stairs or big drops (e.g. train station) you will now hear a new sound that indicates a hole

• NOA companion (iOS and Android app): v1.2.0

  • Your headphones should now connect faster if they have already been paired.

  • Fixed various UI bugs

  • Fixed Voice-Over bugs

We are very happy with this new feature as it will perfectly complement the existing obstacle detection.

For now, it will detect stairs going down as well as drops bigger than 40 cm. In the next version, we will refine that further. As this is a new feature it has to be enabled in the settings and used with care. Please always also rely on your cane and/or guide dog.

Both updates are available today!
